Sales Director

Job description

1. Contribute to business planning at the top management level to develop sales strategies and plans that are consistent with company’s overall long-term objectives

2. Prepare sales forecasts; establish targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development and monitor the performance of the organization against these goals; adjust sales strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions

3. Oversee the overall sales budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimize resources and prioritize spending

4. Develop pricing and discount strategies to maximize sales revenue

5. Pursue major prospects and leads and negotiate terms of sales with major clients that will maximize company’s business interests

6. Liaise with other functional heads across the organization to ensure that sales strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall corporate objectives

7. Work closely with other divisions to have strong penetration in global market

8. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the sales force to achieve established sales and profit goals

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor Degree or above, majored in engineering is preferred

10-15 years in Sales & Marketing function, experience in multi-national companies is preferred

At least 8 years in managerial position

Customer-oriented, good leadership, excellent communication skill, strong motivation for success

Flexible for travelling Good command in English
